UConn recruit Malik Golden of Cheshire Academy — via Newington — was closing in on a decision for college. Then more schools closed in on him, pushing an end-of-July decision into sometime in August. UConn, Boston College, Iowa, Georgia Tech and Miami are among the schools that want him.
